Public Service Leadership First Annual Conference

The Public Service Leadership is hosting a one-day conference to bring together leaders from right across the public services.

The conference will enable you to share experience and discuss how collaborative cross-boundary leadership can be transformed to make a real difference to the delivery of public services so that they have a real impact on improving the lives of the people we serve. 

The conference will also provide a platform to launch:
  • a joint action programme lead by partner organisations
  • the development of a cross-sector top leaders programme and
  • a community of practice website.
The programme is currently being finalised but will include top level representatives from across the public sector and we expect to have keynote speeches from the Rt Hon Tessa Jowell (MP) - on public service reform and the importance of leadership - and Sir Gus O'Donnell, Head of the Civil Service.

There will be a plenary discussion on the future of public service leadership, followed by case study workshops illustrating the impact collaborative leadership has made at national, regional and front line level.

We are aware of increasing economic and financial pressures and are therefore offering a special delegate rate of £175 for this inaugural event.
